Yesterday was my 32nd birthday! It was great! Sharing drinks, food and stories with people close to me. But the day after ain’t too bad either! Some fresh coffee, leftover apple pie and my new fav game 😁.

There was also a big package delivered to me. And I already know what’s inside but I am saving the moment of opening the box for next week. It’s sounds a little mysterious right now but it will all make sense next week Friday on the 29th. This month is full of high notes and my birthday is not even the highest 😉.

📀Happy release day💿 September is full of high notes and this release is the first of many exciting things this month. After collaborating on their first release on @glxy.rotterdam , @black.cadmium asked me if I wanted to be part of the second release on their label as well. This release was to be a compilation album so a great opportunity to show the world what my own original music is all about.

This particular track I’ve had as an ace up my sleeve for a while now. It’s THE party starter in my arsenal of original tracks and it works every single time! Early support from my mentor @jamiethreetwosix shows that it is a real weapon that works in any part of the world 🪩🌐

I’m very excited and humbled to be on this compilation with all these other incredible talents. All tracks are very different and amazing in their on way. Make sure you don’t sleep on this one because there is something for everyone on this great compilation.

Summer has been somewhat disappointing so far. We’ve had a lot of rain and mediocre temperatures here in Holland. @laurabrookmusic and I had to postpone our only camping trip but eventually (luckily) had a couple of beautiful days!

The upside to all the rain is that nature really looked beautiful and healthy. There were the most amazing mushrooms everywhere in the forrest. I went full on nerd and downloaded a mushroom scanning app 🍄😬. If you are even more of a nerd and know what kinds of mushrooms I found, let me know! The app is fun but off course not a 100% accurate 😅.

I love camping with our micro van at this one site @quadenoord_natuurcamping . There are no designated spots, you just have to find your spot somewhere under the trees and figure it out for yourself!🌲🚐🌳 And being able to make fire there is a huge plus! Cooking with fire while camping is the best!

Had a very productive day in the studio messing around with my Korg #monotrondelay and the new percussion instruments we got. My first time tuning bongo’s. If anyone has any tips on tuning bongo’s shoot me a message! I am pretty stoked about this new track though, it’s a slammer! I might try it out at a few gigs next month 🎛🎧🤷🏻‍♂️.

Excuse my tardiness but I just have to share last weekend with you all. I had an amazing time with two nice little parties with an amazing crowd! The weather was great and the people were in the mood to get down. 💃🏽🕺🏼

I started things off with the first ever @fluid_funk label night at @weelderotterdam and ended the next day at a cool location on the outskirts of Utrecht. There @milieudefensie hosted an event at @dusutrecht . I don’t always look forward to silent disco’s because like everyone else I too like to feel the rumble of the bass at a gig. But just look at that little crowd totally going for it! 😁👌📀

Oh and be careful of hitchhikers kids. Especially when it’s one of your best friends trying to squeeze into your van that has no seats left... 🚐
